Spring Field Trips at the farm

Now booking Spring field trips!

  • Reserve your space for our Spring season April 23rd- May 29th, Flexible hours available
  • Classes rotate through each activity, including a lesson on agriculture. 
  • Perfect for PBIS Rewards & Stem Education
  • Price: $11 Per student, School staff Free!
  • Parents and other guests $11
  • Admission for students includes a hayride to pick a small cup of strawberries (based on availability)
  • Gem mining optional (+$5/student)
  • Concessions and picnic area available


**All students and staff must have a signed waiver upon arrival. Please use the link at the bottom of this page to print a waiver for each student and staff member and bring them with you.

Other guests may complete waivers upon arrival at the gate. See link for printable waiver at the bottom of this page.

So how does it work?

When your class arrives to The Farm, you are met with an engaging schedule, given maps, directions and any other instructions on how to guide your class to each activity. Throughout the day you will rotate through all of the activities the same way you would centers in your classroom!

Arrival/ Check-in

During your rotations, listen to a lesson by a REAL farmer! Read a story together, ask questions, and learn how plants grow! Teachers will get to take home a NC Strawberry Ag Mag to supplement learning!

Weather permitting, students will be able to pick a pint cup of strawberries for hands on learning! (and tasting!)

For some added fun you can add on gem mining for an additional $5/student or simply enjoy the fun learning experiences around The Farm!

You can also add on slushies, ice cream, or donuts as a snack for students to eat during their lesson!

Concessions

Printable Farm Waiver

Please print a copy of the waiver to bring with you for each student and staff member! Waivers should be dated with the date of the field trip.
